Stiletto Queue
Kudos to Safaricom for recognizing the struggle of a mother queuing with a baby! As someone who has carried my babies through endless lines, I completely relate. In fact, I was ready to give her my spot because I know how tough it can be. However, now that I’m done with the pregnancy phase and back in my beloved stilettos, I have a humble plea. Can Safaricom also consider those of us bravely queuing in heels? While it’s true that carrying a baby is no small feat, standing in a line wearing stilettos is its own unique form of endurance! You see, walking in heels is much easier than standing still in them. Every minute feels like an hour, and every inch of progress in the queue feels like a mile in stilettos. So here’s my suggestion—perhaps a special “stiletto lane” for the high-heeled heroes? Just like the baby-carrying moms, we too deserve a little consideration! After all, pain is pain, whether it’s from heels or holding a baby.
