Let Go and Let God—The Widow’s Hilarious Revelation

Mama Esther sat on her tiny couch, staring at the ceiling, munching on groundnuts like it was a holy ritual. “God, I’m done worrying. Do what You do best,” she said, throwing a peanut in the air and catching it with her mouth.

Her landlord had warned her that rent was due, and her pantry was emptier than a politician’s promise. But today, she refused to panic. “Even birds eat, and they don’t have M-Pesa,” she muttered.

Just as she was about to lick the last peanut shell, her phone beeped. An M-Pesa message! She gasped. Money from Anastacia! The exact amount of her rent. “Jehovah overdo!” she shouted, spinning like David before the ark.

Then another beep. A gift from Nancy Odanga. Mama Esther sat down, laughing so hard her stomach ached. “Eeeh, God, so You were just watching me chew peanuts while planning my breakthrough?”

From that day, she vowed never to beg for blessings again. Instead, she served, loved, and trusted. Because one thing was clear—God was working, even when she was just sitting there, catching peanuts.
