Teen Convention 2024
Diary Entry: 27th November 2024
Today, I’m doing a victory dance for the teens’ seminar—it’s done, it’s over, and we made it to the finish line! Praise God for the start and finish. Now let me spill the tea on what I’ve learned:
- Step One: Pray.
Step Two: Pray again.
Step Three: Add a sprinkle of thanksgiving, then plan, prepare, and finally, throw yourself into the deep end trusting that God is the ultimate lifeguard.
Can I just say this? The anxiety attacks that used to snatch my voice like a thief in the night? GONE. DISMISSED. NOT INVITED. And honestly? It’s because this time I got my act together with timely planning and execution. Turns out, when you work like it depends on you and pray like it depends on God, anxiety doesn’t even get a front-row seat in your life.
There were moments when the whispers of “You can’t do this,” almost made me wave the white flag. But you know what? The devil is a liar! God reminded me that when He’s building you, He’s not looking for perfect resumes. He’s checking your heart. And to whom much is given? Oh, honey, MUCH is expected. I realized God’s not out here doing casual DIY projects; He’s molding leaders for Kingdom business!
The enemy tried to slide into my DMs with that “You can’t do everything; just drop this whole leader thing” nonsense. But then God flipped the script: “Girl, my favor doesn’t just rest on you—it spills over to the people you delegate to. Trust me to bless them for their service.” I had to laugh because I realized, God doesn’t micromanage; why should I?
Then came the clincher: You can only show trust in God by believing He’s already done it and giving thanks in advance. At first, I was like, “This is too theoretical.” But y’all, this is straight-up biblical science! Trust + Gratitude = Divine Outcomes.
Here’s the deal:
- When you serve others, God multiplies blessings in your life like it’s the feeding of the 5,000.
- When corrected, don’t act brand new—accept it, repent, and level up.
- Beware of sweet talkers who might be trying to deceive you; keep your Holy Ghost radar on.
- And for the love of all that’s good, live in peace, forgive people, and let God handle their drama.
So, here I am, choosing to trust God like my life depends on it (because, spoiler alert: it does). Thank You, Jesus, for the seminar, for the lessons, for the calm voice (literally and figuratively), and for making me laugh at my own doubts. Let’s keep this Kingdom work rolling! 🙌
Signed, a Grateful and Growing Leader.
